There is also a celebratory social narrative that can be read after the child demonstrates “waiting” to reinforce the positive behavior. The story comes with a “wait” card with directions on how to use and teach your child to “wait”. There are stickers that be used to reinforce the behavior as it occurs or they can be used with an existing behavior plan.
