Staying in My Classroom

DO YOU HAVE A STUDENT WITH AUTISM WHO IS A “RUNNER”?

Staying in My Classroom is a social narrative and like a social story explains why we stay in the classroom. It also explains why we stay near the teacher in the hall when walking in the hall. The story includes options that the child can choose from to help him/her stay in the classroom. After the student is successful there is a celebratory story I Stayed in the Classroom that the student can read. Also included are visuals of staying in the classroom, a worksheet, and stickers to reinforce the behavior (that you can print on labels).
